Then and Now--The Girls

I thought it would be fun to take a look back at how far we have come in the last year! Here are a few pics of the girls following the accident.

Emma had a some black and blue marks on her face, but you can see it didn't stop her from smiling! Isn't she adorable?

Moriah didn't have bruising on her face, but she had a mark on her neck from the seatbelt.

And here they are last month, with Grandma at a pumpkin farm! Still looking adorable and so much taller!

  1. I hadn't seen any pictures of the girls from the accident. Made my heart twinge looking at them. So thankful for the smiling faces in spite of the marks and bruises. Made me think of this part of the verse in Isaiah 61.
    instead of ashes,
    the oil of joy
    instead of mourning,
    and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
    a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.

  2. So beautiful, Sarah! Thanks for sharing that! :)

  3. Aw...I didn't even think about your kids having bumps and bruises! I'm so glad they healed beautifully!
